Girls Volleyball

The girls' volleyball teams are open to girls in grades
5 through 8. Depending upon the number of girls and
their grade levels, Holy Trinity may have both a varsity
and JV team.
Practices start in August and include a volleyball
camp at the gym shortly before school starts. In addition,
OLSH and Canevin along with other schools in the area
offer summer camps for those girls who want to get an
understanding of volleyball or just want to brush up
on their skills.
The regular season begins when school starts and finishes
at the end of October. Most games are played on Mondays
and Wednesdays, with some games played on the weekends.
Once the regular season begins, practices are typically
held Tuesday and Thursday.
This season our Lady Tigers play 7 other schools during
their regular season and will compete against ten other
teams in the Bishop Canevin Tournament. The top fifteen
teams in the diocese will participate in the Diocesan
Championship Tournament on October 24 at the Monroeville
Sports Complex.
