Ice
Cream Science Rocks and Rolls
Students in 3A
are 'shaking it up' with their
ice cream science basket and class project,
a handmade book of poems about
ice
cream. Inside this dynamic family basket
are the tools to make ice cream at home
from scratch. To get you started is a quart
size Play and Freeze Ice Cream Maker (Ice
Cream Ball), plus a grocery gift card to
purchase the tools of this trade! We've
also included the toppings in the basket,
to enjoy your ice cream while playing a
family board game of Ice-cream-opoly. Just
in case the shaking gets messy, have the
children wear the two fun and sturdy cotton
twill aprons. Once this activity sparks
your child's imagination, they can try building
ice cream with the included Legos, or take
advantage of a gift certificate for one
C-MITES (Carnegie Mellon Institute for Talented
Elementary and Secondary Students) or Steppingstones
workshop, or read a children's mystery chapter
book about ice cream.
